aannd the taser eventually worked, he might have 0 effect on pain but pain isn't the primary focus of a taser. He still went down non lethally, and he can live another day. A result which is far better than needless loss of life.

idk why you're being sarcastic about it, they resorted to physical violence before they thought to use the taser, and last i checked taser guns work at range. There's no reason to get that close if its truly life or death which it wasn't when it started off. But you know. cops like to escalate situations so i'm not surprised. Just thankful that nobody died.
