What happens to a Bijuu after a Jinchuuriki dies?

Minato sealed the yin part of Kurama into his soul, so that it wouldn't respawn and wreak havoc with another Kyubi running around

when a jin dies the bijuu dies with the jin, but since the bijuus are immortal they are revived later
