what happens if you try to release someone from the IT?

Genjustu release isn't hard to do, and since the Edo hokages are ok, they can unwrap them and try to gen release them, but what might happen? Are the ones wrapped unable to be released and unwrapped? Why might that be?

If that's true they would have released from their larva stage. I have reason to believe the IT is a genjustu which can be released but maybe they are in the process of metamorphosis and would look deformed if they were released. Ex: blanced skin, yellow pupils, green hair. Maybe they will have lost their memory

Disagree, the IT is just genjustu. It doesn't expel the mind. Now, warding against anesthesia is an entirely different story
