What happens if there is no price for everything in the world?

Money is the reason for every evil things like cheating,betraying and may be killing also. It has a big impact towards the world. I wonder what will happen if everything available in the world for free of cost. Will the world be in peace or it will be destroyed.
IMO it will not develop and everything will become chaos.

Destroyed. People would get greedy with things, and take more then they need, then start charging people for items.
I do also think technology would stop with evolving since people won't earn anything in evolving it further... So we are f*cked no matter what happens xD

well if everthing was free there would be no more production of good period no one would work for something they can get for for so once all the goods that are available were gone ...well you know what would happen then

Everything will cost something. If there wasn't money it would just be a trade/barter system people exchange items for other items or services. People don't do stuff for free. Money isn't the reason for evil, human nature is. Money just makes us show our true nature and gets blamed.

if everyone knew how to cultivate the earth then people wouldn't need to buy anything because you would be able to grow everything you would need. then building houses for yourselves will be the work that people need.

Its human nature to always want more than what we have. There will always be something of value, and everything will always cost something. If its not money, it will be services, items, help, but nothing will ever be truly free.

everybody can be self sufficient if they didn't have money that's how it was with indians and natives. they found ways to create shelter grow crops and utilize animals for food! times will just go back to those times

That would be nice, but even the Natives didn't do everything for free. They instead of money would trade items and services to help each other. There was just a lot less things to trade back then. Now people have had a taste of material goods, and like I said its human nature to want more, not less. Its just the way we are. Think, would you rather have everything you ever dreamed of and more, or live in a teepee and have to fight to survive against nature every day? Life was much harder back then than it is now.

that itself is true but if there was no money there would be no technology so therefore there would be no choice but to go back to those things. not only would this change the way people work but it will change the thinking patterns and their actions and how they get along with other people.

money complicates life but without it life would be much more simple. not saying that it would be easier but it wouldn't be so difficult just to survive when you have your own place, food, water, without having to depend on money to keep it all or get more because you would be the one that supplied yourself with the things that you have.

All true even in a best case scenario; let's say we find ourselves in a simpler non monetary situation and we all have to till our land for our own food, now let's say you have a garden. your garden can sustain starwberries, cotton and tobacco but can't sustain growth for peaches, corn, and wheat but your neighbor can. What do you do you trade your neighbors for what you need and vice versa. there will never be a case of something for nothing...

The technology we have wouldn't just go away. And as I said the human desire to have more will make other things have value. The system of currency might change, but some form of it will always exist. Then people would just have to have something to offer in return other than money, or form a new currency system. Like if you want a new computer, you would have to work for a computer seller for a certain amount of time for it, or have something he wanted enough in return for it. Prostitution would become the worlds biggest business, because in a world with no money *** is one thing that people will never stop wanting bad enough to trade something for it. It really would be a rough world, but its a world that will never exist. Even if the dollar falls, we would just fall back onto gold and jewels. Also, food and liquor and tobacco and drugs, things people will always desire.
