Just like the title states, what happens to big mom and all of her created islands, buildings, homies, etc. If she gets knocked out, or killed?

In the past devil fruits like Moriah, sugar, etc. Can keep stacking shadows or toys infinitely, but the second the user goes down all is undone. Is this this same for big moms souls?

Second question: If all her souls go away and she loses the islands, weapons, etc. Would she lose her Yonko status? She would still have her family and her own raw power, but would potentially lose Prometheus and Zeus and Sooo many powerful tools.

Fair question. Idk since they're powered by the souls of others I would assume they stay where BM put them or else all the life she stole should be returned as well though I'm sure some have already died due to lack of years and I doubt those people would be resurrected because BM gets KO'd or dies.

I think her fruit is similar to Moriah's, so what happened to Moriah should happen, what happened to Moriah wasn't clear tho, since he chose to absorb all the shadows, before he got KO'd, if he didn't absorb the shadows, I doubt the shadows would go back to their owners.

I don't think the Islands are due to her power, so the Islands should stay intact, and, depending on the response of her crew (if they decide to stick with her), she should stay a Yonko. Also, since the Marines (Luffy's special cleanup squad) are not around in this arc, it's likely she'd stay a Yonko.

I'm not sure if the souls would go back to where they rightfully belong.. but I can imagine them just leaving the Homies and finally being able to "rest in peace" so to speak.

Therefore every Homie will go back to being the lifeless objects they once were.

I'm hoping this is the case for Big Mom's DF as well..

She will probably keep her Yonko status for now... but it's only a matter of time before some of these Supernova either take these Yonko seats.. or the Yonko positions just become obsolete in general. a.k.a. when Luffy becomes Pirate King.

Moria, Big Mom and Sugar all three have their own circumstances. So what happens to one in a specific situation doesn't automatically mean it will happen to the others in the same situation.

Sugar made, as she called them, contracts with people. She also didn't separate anything from the people with whom she formed those contracts. So there was a very strong connection to Sugar's state. This is different however for Moria and Big Mom as they separated something physically from their victims and implanted that into something else, creating an existence that could function quite autonomous. Between Moria and BM there's also the difference that the former can separate shadows, but can't inherently change anything of the shadow while BM cuts away a substance that can be piled up and exhausted. She said it herself that the souls of people is her favourite snack, so those souls she ate are lost forever. It comes down to that each shadow is unique, while souls are a 'universal' commodity.

When Moria got KO'd he had already absorbed all the shadows he had been collecting for years. By default those shadows could only be held for a certain amount of time so when he was unconscious, those shadows were unbound and returned to their original hosts. If they however had been bound to a zombie I doubt the same thing would have happened.

Personally I don't think anything is going to happen to the homies if she just falls unconscious, at least not with all of them. But if she dies, well that's another matter.

Losing her homies and such would be a severe blow to her power, but it's not like there is a yonkou committee that decides who gets to be a yonkou and who not. In the end it all centers around the individual. As long as she's not confidently beaten, her status as yonkou will be hard to remove.
