Arent you forgetting something? That was his plan until Itachi showed him his side and told him he loved him. Now he's on his way to find out the entire truth from the people in that mysterious scroll. His fight against Naruto is inevitable, but he doesnt want to destroy anything until he's satisfied his hunger for the complete truth.

Oro asked sasuke if he was having second thoughts about his revenge and he said no after meeting itachi again he hates konoha more

to much is going on at the moment lets see what position sasuke makes in the future after the war then we can make better suggestions .. becuz we still dont know who he is about to meet with oro anyway

kishi did say that they would MEET during the war. but for some reason i dont really see them fighting maybe they will maybe they wont (i do think the fight is inevitable) i just feel like there is way to much going on right now for that. but at the same time sasuke vs naruto in front of the five nations would be epic

Oh nothing much, people cry over lost ones, there is a lot of rebuilding, a lot of charity done for the people who don't have a home to live in.
In a few years they attain peace.
But it doesn't last long and there is another war and this results in an endless loop
