naruto ends as a legend or we see him live out his dreams as hokage....... but most likely a time skip will occur like dbz to db gt..... who knows

Madara loses the war and witnesses Sasuke's true potential and tends to merge him with the Demonic Statue.
Naruto defeats Sasuke but fails to bring him back.
Story continues after a 2 year time lapse and Naruto continues to try and bring Sasuke back.

At that point Kakashi would tell Naruto ok we will really need to kill this guy. I know you love him but this guy is 18 years old.

everybody in the ninja world will be butthurt even though no important characters die. Naruto will beat sasuke but not kill him so kishi can make a cheesy stupid reverence how naruto and sasuke's lifes are just like the first hokage and madara.
Naruto will become hokage and the world will miraculously become a better place so the readers can reflect on to themselves and feel like they can also make a difference in the world.
Naruto nowadays is more life lessons then actual story. Why is it sooo predictable

In the end of the battle Madara dies, Naruto becomes Hokage after beating Sasuke one on one.
In that fight Sasuke will reach near death state and be left behind by Naruto, who finally realizes that Sasuke isn´t all that worthy.
Sasuke is now alone, starts feeling remorse and uses Chidori on himself to meet Itachi on the other side.
Time skip - Naruto shown as Hokage - THE END
Maybe kinda ridiculous but something in there must be right : P

madara will die kabuto will escape like the little weasel that he is.and naruto will be a hero but since this whole war i dont see how the story can move on its probably going to end but if my guess is right kabuto will be an important villian if kishi decides to keep the story.but my guess is as good as yours

I think that after a final clash against madara and sasuke, naruto and the rest of the world thinks that madara is sealed and sasuke dead, then a time skip and sasuke apears again (similar like madara, hes a shell of him self) and wants revenge on naruto... he somehow unseals madara and they are stronger then ever....
Naruto:
Becomes Hokage, but is the protector of the village (and establishes relations) while Tsunade does all the paper work. (Much like the 4th and the 3rd)
Sasuke:
either dies, leads the hidden sound and becomes the leader of the small nations, or returns upon hearing Itachi's words from Naruto
I believe the next "threat" will be the smaller nations with The Land of Rice Patties (Hidden Sound Village) at it's head with a legion of Uchiha. During the Time Lapse, or possibly during the 3rd season if this would be the 4th, Sasuke learns of Itachi having children (I know sounds far-fetched but it's not out of Kishimotos league) and raises the child and has kids of his own. this starts the Uchiha legion. Sasuke gets the other small villages to train with him and smaller villages power greatly increases. This leads to the next great ninja war, after a time of "Peace"
