What happened to substitution jutsu? I mean, that jutsu could save so many people and it can be used in varies situations to help people out, yet no one uses it anymore? Also, I don't ever see anyone use it in vs. threads, why's that? It's as if this ability doesn't exist anymore!

Tis' true. Although it was more of a Part 1 gimmick as they didn't have many powerful jutsus..

It kind of doesn't make sense to me. It was originally explained to be when a ninja quickly replaces what's in their position with a nearby object, like when Kakashi replaced himself with Naruto's clone back in part 1, and Naruto ended up hitting himself.

But then later ninja would just turn into wood, when there's not any nearby wood. My opinion tho. Idk what happened to people using the jutsu.

But it can be life saving =D And it's a real easy technique to pull off.

Yeah, I mean can't people just use like pebbles and rocks that are around them? Don't think it uses up that much chakra.

That could be true. However since people have powerful jutsu's now, substitution could be very helpful.

to use substitution the user needs more chakra the ones who can use it doesn't use substitution they use
clone jutsu like madara;naruto;hashirma;
