after today's manga, some things have been cleared about how madara lost to hashirama. Both used their top techniques and in the end both were at their limits with madara's kyuubi being taken out of his control and hashirama's thousand hands stuff was destroyed totally. The final battle was only based on brute force and weapons. what i noticed was madara's EMS was DEACTIVATED and after one final clash, hashirama seemed to be the one down and madara seemed to be the last man standing. But in reality that was just a Mokuton bunshin and madara fell for it. since his sharingan was deactivated obviously he couldn't sense hashirama sneak up from behind him and stab him eventually. This just proves that no matter how strong or skilled a shinobi is, if he lets his guard down for one moment he can be defeated by the simplest of techniques. Someone as great as madara eventually fell for a wood clone inspite of all the badass techniques we have seen him using so far.
But the question here is if hashirama is so sure that he killed madara, howcome madara survived and lived for so long??? Did the fact that hashirama killed madara was just an illusion?? If so then how because madara didn't have his EMS activated at that moment. And how did madara gain access to hashirama's dna?? What are your thoughts??

For all these things, we have a forum. In that forum we post special threads for every issue. Posting them all in one isn't a thread, it's a forum inside a forum.

BR00.. Lets just wait.. How are we suppose to know.. we aint Kishi ..

But if you we're speculating then maybe Hashirama left Madara dying there thinking he'll die but he actually didn't because he had some of Kurama's chakra and that's how he was able to gain energy to stay alive.. and Hashirama probably left the wood clone there and Madara took that wood clone? LOL Idk.. I suck at speculating Kishi's work :p

We haven't seen that yet. I agree about what you said earlier, if you let your guard down, you loss.

Madara

There was a closeup on madaras end just after hasihrama stopped the fox and a picture of the moon was followed.
Looks like madara used an eye tech to make it look like he died.

I liked how it ended, thought it was brilliant.

I liked this chapter, although I was confused with the eye close up at the end of page 8 followed by a close up of the moon on page 9. Not sure if that was supposed to be some sort of hint or just to take up space.

I am going to stick to my theory:

That wood bunshin of Hashirama once all was over and everyone Except Madara was gone became white Zetsu ...
Hashirama did not want to kill Madara he did everything to make him change and come back .. In the end he regretfully had to terminate his best friend.
SOOOO
I bet his Mokuton (which resonates with life energy as we can see when naruto first switches of his bm ) and the Zetsus who while fighting Naruto also resonate with life energy are the same thing.. Zetsu was brought forth through a mokuton jutsu.
I bet this Mokuton clone became Zetsu and helped Madara as that was what Hashirama really wanted to do in his heart.

Things covered by this theory:
Why no Izanagi? - Stab wound was there
How could he gain Hashiramas DNA? - He put a piece of white Zetsu into his wound
How was Zetsu created? - It basically sprung forth from a Mokuton Bunshin
Why didn't Madara die? - Zetsu helped him.
