Totally agreed. It seemed like Kishi intended for him to have his arms back in early Part II already, so aside from that, he had no place in the manga.

I think it was just an attempt to wrap things up, and harken back to the original part of the manga for nostalgia or whatever reasoning you could put behind it. Other then that, his presence there makes no sense and just seems unusual.

It's true, when you put so much time and effort into something, and then the writer gets lazy, and it seems like they really don't care anymore, you have the right to be frustrated. I understand Kishimoto wanted to have his honey moon and what not, but a hiatus could've fixed that. The way he rushed the story was wrong, he did his fans dirty.

The fact that Kishi violated the Chekhov's gun principle (in relation to Hashirama's jutsu given to Sasuke) means he clearly abandoned interest in the manga at the end.

And that is just one example of literary code you do not break if you're a self-respecting author.

I could literally right an essay on why the ending was sloppy, and it's rise and downfall, it's pretty sad. The last chapter was only considered good because of shippers, and Naruto finally became Hokage.

I agree.

The manga started off great all the way up to part 2. beginning of part 2 was also good.. after this i feel things started to get iffy. but it was still pretty good.. the manga in part 2 after the fight with itachi was iffy as a whole and really went stale in the war arc

Honestly, to me, the Tobi reveal was one of the worst handled situations in any piece of literature I've encountered.

-EDIT- Except maybe the "walking forest" in Macbeth...

Why do you say that?

Why do you say that?

It just seemed like a cop out to me.

Sort of like that blank canvas painting or that piece by Phillip glass that is 3 minutes of silence. Yeah, you could say that you are commenting on the beauty of the world around you. You could also say that you're a lazy *****.

That's just me though. Lol

I wouldn't really call it a copout. I mean the witches DID say the forest would move from the very beginning :/

I've never heard of Phillip Glass so I can't comment u_u

If you think the way Kishi handled the end of the manga aswell as the war arc as great writing then im afraid you have not read enough manga.

i won't say it was terrible or bad but it was certainly unsatisfactory

the manga as a whole packed a lot of potential and it was no where near what it could have been

Necromancer talked of from the start of the War Arc and I said "for the most part". You need to brush up on your reading comprehension.

It's not a matter of reading manga, said literature is rather undemanding. If you only read manga, then you haven't got a foot to stand on when it comes to judging the merit of any literature.

"Samui and Atsiu"

Samui and Atsui actually are shown being freed(somehow, Darui didn't know how to freed them, much less Tenten, what means that Kishimoto created a plothole in the very last pages of the manga).

I bet that we will never see Karin again, that is. Now that I think about it, all her struggle to save Sasuke seems pointless at the end.

Yes. Most of it was good. No one said otherwise.

As you said, most of the manga was good, that obviously means you believe some of it was not, which is exactly what everyone else is saying.

So, once again, the reader has the right to criticize, and I have almost entirely negative criticism from the war arc onward.
