What happened to the Uchiha vicinity of the Konoha?

Was it torn down after the massacre or does it remain standing or did Pain destroy it during the invasion? I'm sure if Sasuke ever destroyed the Konoha, he would revisit the area to tell his clan they have been avenged because he's pretty insane (well, not anymore).

After pain i doubt anything but the shrine with the tablet remains due to it being underground.

I would say Pein destroyed the place. I doubt the Konoha would destroy the area because they sympathized Sasuke, until he became an S rank criminal. :/

Hmm good question, maybe the underground portions, i.e. the Naka shrine, but the rest would have probably been destroyed.

A more interesting question would be will Konoha even bother rebuilding anything to do with the Uchiha?

Thanks. I doubt the Konoha will rebuild the Uchiha vicinity or anything pertaining to them until they learn the truth behind the massacre and everything Itachi did.

Correct me if im wrong but didn't pain's shinra tensei leave a huge crater where konoha was meaning that even the underground meeting place would have been destroyed? Plus i think the place that orochimaru told sasuke that he knows very well was definately where he found his parents dead and orochimaru was going to get dna samples from their to edo tensei sasuke's parent's but orochimaru isn't aware that konoha was blown to shit
