[Discussion] What happened to the senju clan?

The senju clan was extremely powerful before the founding on the leaf village, I don't understand how they just nearly disappeared. I get that some may have married out of the clan but how could such a powerful clan dwindle into barely having literally no numbers.

Anyone have any idea's on what happened?

so i think they split into smaller clans (like nara clan im guessing) based on these abilities and also, unlike uchiha, they married and had kids with other clans and stuff. which is why uchiha was more preserved (and why i like to call it the "incest clan")

Where in the manga did it say the Uchiha's didn't married and have kids with others clans or just non-Uchiha? The answer is it doesn't.Don't make stuff up.Furthermore, Hashirama Senju married Mito Uzumaki.The Senju Clan and The Uzumaki clan are cousin.
