What happened to the other 6 tomoe of the shinju's rinnegan?

Though we know that only Hagoromo (and not Hamura) became the shinju's jinchuuriki, I still think that something must have happened to half of the juubi's power.

Can someone please post the scan of Hagoromo and Hamura fighting the juubi? I'd do it myself, but I don't know how to post scans.

Anyway, if you look closely in that picture, you will see that the juubi has 12 tomoes in its rinnegan. This is twice the amount of tomoes that appears in the eye of the beast mode juubi that was revived in this war. This is why I think that Hagormo and Hamura must have done something to seal away half of the beast's power or something.

Theory time: This is kind of a cliche theory, but perhaps Hamura really did use the death reaper seal in order to seal away half the beast's power and died as a result. Perhaps that is why only Hagoromo was praised as a diety and became the sage of the 6 paths. Share your thoughts.

If that's what happened ,then Hamura's soul must have been freed from the death god when Orochimaru released the seal.Nice theory, i didn't notice the Tomoe thing ,but was thinking along the same lines..

That's just one interpretation.

Viz is official because they are owned by the original publishers of Naruto, not because the translations are any better. Kishimoto's original phrasing in the Japanese text was ambiguous.
