What happened to the Kages?

As we saw in this most recent chapter, Madara is now on the battlefield with Tobi and Naruto. Given that he was previously seen with the kages, I must ask, what happened to them? The way I see it, there are three options:

1. Madara incapacitated the Kages and left them to die.
2. Madara killed the kages and left.
3. Madara said:

You must be registered for see images

... and merrily strolled away.

Obviously there's nothing to substantiate any of these claims other than it seems unlikely that Kishi would kill off the kages without covering their deaths.

What's your call?

Madara probably killed Oonoki and left because he got bored and he sensed stronge chakra from Naruto, I doubt they're all dead though.

I think when Madara released himself from Edo Tensei, he left the beaten-but-living Kages in order to seek out Kabuto to 'teach him a lesson about using forbidden jutsu'.
By that time, Kabuto was already in Izanami and Tobi was fighting Kakashi/Gai/Naruto.

Up until Tobi's mask broke off, I assume Madara has been traveling towards Tobi's position since Kabuto has been dealt with.

Madara doesn't seem to be the type to simply kill off his opponents. He toys with them, much like he did to Oonoki during that flashback.

Most likely the 3rd option.. I hardly believe that we will suddenly see some(if any) of the kages dead after Tobi, Madara vs Naruto, Bee, Kakashi, Gai is over.

how about this option: the kages have been talking/fighting all this time to a clone and the real badass Madara left the fight a few chapters ago?

Coincidence???? But I think that maybe he got bored of them or incapacitated them. Im sure they will be coming to the fight soon though along with the rest of the army.

Here's another option that hasn't been mentioned:
Knowing that Madara would waste his time dealing with the kages, he left some of his wood clones to fight them off.

I think for him it is the biggest insult to just walk away from them, not acknowledging their ability. That`s why he most likely just left them behind or at least stunned them before.

The Kages wouldn't allow Madara to leave the battle ground...

...Madara just simply crushed them with his ultimate Susanoo.

I mean come on, they were hellbent on keeping Madara from spreading his hate and stuff.

They were pretty worn out too so one can only assume they're either dead or all incapacitated.

Now on to the next chapter. Madara and Obito teaming up is just....just....friggin beyond sweetness!
