What happened to Slug Sage Mode?

Sakura fans were saying that Sakura's gonna get Slug Sage mode because Naruto got Toad Sage mode and Kabuto (Sasuke?) got Dragon Sage Mode. There was supposed to be some kind of parallel (?) between the students of the Sannin

And then, we were supposed to see Sakura like this
