What Happened to Second Raikage?

We know that the gold and silver brothers did a coupteat during the peace treaty of konoha and kumo.its known that they fought the second hokage and left him in the verge of death,then what happened to the second raikage?

i think that the Second hokage tried to protect Second raikage and got mortally wounded while the second raikage escaped.this is just my opinion.your opinions are welcome too!

Its unknowned what happen to him. but in my own opinion the 2nd raikage had it plan but it did not go that way and the kumo bros probly killed the 2nd raikage but failed to kill the 2nd in the ambushed
