What happened to Sasukes Ridiculous speed from start of Shipuden?

Sasuke was able to close a pretty good gap distance between him and naruto in less than a second. No one could even react. Was Sasukes speed cut down after he lost Curse Mark?

I dont think so. Obviously the focus has shifted to his MS/EMS but he is still capable of these feats. He kept up with the Raikage decently well, albeit aided with the sharingan.
