Simmer down. No need to start name-calling...its because genjutsu doesnt work on people perfect jins you mental midget
at no point when he encounter any genjutsu from itachi did he come up with any answers or come close to breaking out, all he did was cry and say someone help me, what from those encounters would lead you to believe that he isnt vulnerable to itSasuke is not dumb..he knew it wouldn't work...he knew that kurama would repell it..plus naruto has fought itachi the best genjutsu user ever , on more occasions than him, so he would not be succeptable to it....
I feel Sasuke using genjustu on the nine bijuus and not on Naruto was that he wanted Naruto to fight him in his pure true strength, not with beasts and him not using genjustu on Naruto is because if he did then Sasuke won't feel like he has won for he will have it at the back of his mind that Naruto didn't fight him with his all
well its just my own opinion, and it could be that Naruto has gotten immune to genjustu because he has had encounters with people like Itachi, do not forget Diedara trained his left eye to see through genjustu after he had experience with Itachi so the same could be said for Naruto, only we will not know how he trained himself to do it like it wasn't shown to us how diedara trained his left eyes
Wrong. It was stated in the manga that Shisui's ultimate genjutsu Kotoamatsukami recharges for 10 years only for NON-Uchiha, unless they have Senju DNA. Shisui himself could use it everyday like nothing. Also, Itachi could never control lots of people without any eye contact or at least pointing his fingertip to their eyes, unlike Shisui, who could clearly place multiple people under his Tsukuyomi without them even knowing or noticing it. ( Proof - Ao vs Shisui's konoha squad fight ) Don't understimate Shisui - he is truly the best genjutsu ever, by far better than Itachi. That is exactly why he was dealt with quickly by Kishi-sama in order to prevent his OPness from existing in the Shinobi World. It is fightening, but it's cooldown is also extremely long. Itachi said that it took about 10 years to recharge unless Hashirama's cells were involved to accelerate the process.
So While Shisui has the strongest Genjutsu, Itachi's Tsukuyomi can pretty much 1 shot people as well and he can use it multiples times. But Itachi can also apparently control hundreds of people outside of sensering range.
We don't enough background story on Shisui's other genjutsus.... but we know the world feared Itachi for his genjutsu and Nagato himself mentionned while being alongside Itachi that Itachi's genjutsu alone could control the war and couldnt understand why Madara (Obito) was not taking advantage of that (not knowing that Kabuto actually had his own agenda)
Shisui has the strongest genjutsu
Itachi's Tsukuyomi is likely second, but has much more in his arsenal when it comes to genjutsu. He is the best Genjutsu user in the manga with what we know.
Sasuke has powerful Genjutsu, but not on Itachi's level. Sasuke knows that his Genjutsu isn't strong enough to stop a Jinchuuriki who can work with his Bijuu to quickly break it. Even without Kurama, we haven't seen Naruto struggle against Genjutsu for quite a while; this isn't the same Naruto who got fingered by Itachi. In the final battle against Naruto, Sasuke didn't use any Genjutsu tactics (if I recall correctly...). Why? Everyone knows that one of Naruto's major shortcomings is Genjutsu, and Sasuke certainly got close enough during the fight to trap him in one. It would have been game over. I can't help but feel like Kishimoto conveniently decided to ignore this.
Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong or provide a method that Naruto could have used to get out of a Genjutsu by Sasuke? One possibility that comes to my mind is that Kurama could have snapped him out of it.
You answered your own Q. At the time of the final fight the bond btw naruto and kuruma was so strong that he would be waste of time.In the final battle against Naruto, Sasuke didn't use any Genjutsu tactics (if I recall correctly...).
