What happened to Sakura being hyped as a genjustu type?

He stopped training her in middle of the chunin exam and yet sent her after Sasuke to fight Gara. Same teacher he was. And then he and Kurenai both got their genjutsu and genjutsu resistance abilities walked all over by Itachi soon after that.

Kakashi had told her she was genjutsu type because she had good chakra control. She used the same ability for learning medical jutsu. She is allowed to chose what field she wants to go to, isn't she? What's the point of learning some Kurainai level jutsu at best when Uchihas are running around with their moon eye plans.

Yet she fell for a dude who is a expert in genjutsu. My question to you is, can she handle it? Can she handle the cheating Sasuke did with Karin in the last genjutsue she was put in?

I think the main issue is, that fans expect everything to be shown to them. But forget in things like this they have to use their brain to analyze and connect dot A to B. Instead it already being connected for them.
