Wasnt obitos original plan to become the juubis jin from the start, well since he heard the so6p story from dying madara? Using the moons plan as a fascade? I remember him saying that he wanted a "complete" body, becoming a juubi jin would do so. Sasuke was just a toy and he never meant tot revive madara.
