what happened to naruto‘s phrase?

does anyone remember at the beggining of the show when naruto was always saying “belive it” what happened to that phrase that he doesnt say it anymore

Dattebayo is literally not "Believe it"...Its just some random "baby-talk" words that Naruto have carried on...Probably, because he have grown up already so, as to make him sound more mature, its been minimized.

I been listening to dubbed shows in japanese so much I actually starting picking up the language. And before it was simply just jibberish but now that I actual know a bunch of words dattebayo sticks out like a sore thumb and heaving Naruto say it over and over again is actually really annoying. Probably more annoying than believe it was. The translation for what dattebayo means is something like "know what I'm saying?" if I remember right. And thats probably a less cumbersome way of translating it. They used to say believe it in the english because it was hard to sync the dialog with his mouth movements when translated into english. Then they dropped it because it was dumb.
