He fought Hagoromo, was sealed the gourd, and his moon seal was stolen most likely. Look at Ashura vs Indra, Hashirama vs Madara, and Naruto vs Sasuke. Don't tell that shit didn't happen.

Hamura created a clan [Hyuuga] to pass on his will and shared his power [The curse mark which helped to seal Kaguya] with his brother Hagoromo [Most probably before his passing]...

But what reason would he have for fighting Hagoromo who was much much more powerful after sealing the Jubi in himself? I'm pretty sure Hamura knew he couldn't take a Jubi jin w/ Rinnegan
It's obvious he is the Hyuuga's ancestor, he has the Byakugan and in the modern day, the gene for the Byakugan KKG has been passed throughout generations.
Black Zetsu already stated that he was Kaguya's will, created by her to revive her later on.

I do not understand why everyone thinks that Hagoromo has the power to fratello.Hagoromo had the symbol of the full moon and the waning moon, while Hamura was probably that of the sun. Think about the meaning of the name Hyuga (via the Sun), the father of Neji Hiashi (sunlight or the rays of the sun) Hinata (place in the sun). Do not forget the Hyuga Curse Seal that represents a symbol (swastika down) of the sun and light.

what if the Juubi/Kaguya couldn't be sealed entirely at once and we keep in our mind the gedou mazou being the Juubi's body which got separated in the same way as minato split yin en yang kurama so he could seal half in naruto. My guess is; Kaguya being sealed by haruma with the reaper death seal or hagoromo created the reaper deathseal and used haruma for it so he could obtain the yin and yang(reaper deathseal looks a bit like kaguya/hamura and rinnegan can only be obtained when Indra en Ashura chakra is combined). the Juubi can be sealed on your own without needing yin and yang powers cuz Madara and Obito succeeded in doing so too and Obito wielded only one rinnegan and both had no SO6P powers before sealing the Juubi.. Hamura made a selfsacrifice or Hagoromo sealed his brother away..
I think he is locked in the sage tools but he will me summoned with madaras horn. ANYWAY what the hell was the purpose of the tools? I mean come on sth. acient needs to be locked there. They should have been used before sealing the kyuubi brothers?? Why did hago left them in the real world?! Someone has a answer?
