You all missed something He was alive and with Chad and Orihime in Las Noches. Remeber when Ichigo is talking to them before heading to stop the Quincies, someone yells from behind the screen calling Ichigo an ******* and Ichigo asks "you're not with HIM are you" that is Grimmjow.
