What happened to fights

I have been re watching old episodes, and fights were all about strategy not who has bigger jutsu, and if you had a good jutsu you could only use it a couple of times, not all the time :/ I find MS ruined the Naruto

It is not only the ms, the senju dna and bijuu bombs should count too, i miss the times when characters actually had to do something for a powerup; i do not mind opness till it get spammed around too much.

MS has risks as well and can only be used for limited time in a day. For some users it could be used once in a day and if any shinobi overused, they ended up losing the MS. So what's your point?

Madara and Sasuke lost their's for over-usage. Itachi could only use it for a limited amount of time. Shisui could only use it once until after every 10 years. Don't know much about Izuna but he lost his due to sacrifice. For Obito it was a different case since he had Senju DNA so he could use it multiple times but he still had one jutsu. I don't see why your blaming the MS for the fights being a let down. U_U

Because for other charathers to keep up with it, they had to get huge powerups, and their powerups could be used all the time, so Ms had to get powerup to keep up with those things(sage mode), then when EMS came, it was so strong there was need for a new powerup (Biju mode, Hashiramas 1000hands etc)
And now you are either a Senju Uchiha Jinchuriki or fodder :/

Not saying that Its really great, and alot of mysteries and huge battles. But its not the same anymore, its not about what it used to be about.

There were times when strategies alone could defeat an opponent....
Just like Shikamaru owning Hidan, Kakashi almost soloing Deva, Minato defeating Tobi with just a blitz and RASENGAN!!!!...etc...

Bro, there's nothing wrong with that. Mangekyo Sharingan is a feature unique to the Uchiha who are considered one of two of the most powerful clans in the Naruto World. In order for them to be seen as just that, they are given such a feature. I don't mean to be harsh but you're complaining about something which is unchangeable. I also forgot to mention that even EMS has some flaws. It may prevent the user from going blind but the strain will still be placed on the body unless they have Uzumaki or Senju DNA of course because they contain Rikudo's life force and have the capacity to store large amounts of chakra.

well right now its about who has the biggest jutsu, it used to be about strategy, like Naruto and Sasuke rescuing Kakashi using strategy and rest of the fights in part 1
