Why is the manga still going on and the anime stopped its course. It is said that episode 366 is the last one. What caused its fall?

First the writer had too much probs he missed out some plots so he needed some time as the anime was getting caught up with the manga and another reason was that the channel which show bleach contract expired so they needed a new contract it will come back months later :) maybe after one arc gets over.

If I recall, they were getting dangerously close to the manga. The feedback from their recent filler arcs was fairly negative, so they chose to stop the series until the manga is finished.

I expect it'll start up again in a year or two, with less filler content.

It's Stopped because the Anime has caught up with the manga, as such, they need more fillers. Filler episodes are bad. There were too many after Aizen's defeat. So, they've stopped production for the Bleach Anime for the time being.
The Thousand-Year Blood War is the last arc, but that does not mean Bleach is ending, Not for a long time at least. From what I've read, Kubo says that the last arc is to go on for about 4+ years until completion.

EDIT - Forget what I said earlier about the anime being stopped because it caught up to the manga. Found out recently that the Anime was axed March 2012 due to the amount of fillers. There were 165 Filler episodes. Too many filler arcs. As a result, there has been no official word on whether or not the anime will get a reboot.

The filler arc after Aizen was amazing.

The new arc reveals much about Ichigo's true powers, and his mother.

The anime caught up to the Manga, also the manga is on its last arc, so I believe they will restart the anime after the final arc is completed.

I read somewhere that they were just ordinary fillers so I wouldn't know. No-one mentioned which episodes the Fullbring Arc was so I missed the introduction to that and pretty much everything else. I imagined the fillers would be more of those lame Karakuraizer episodes.

Aizen wasn't a God he was a badass for sure but no God. Also it wasn't a couple of hours it was literally months for Ichigo to gain FGT..

you missed the point..which was the entire bleach series revolved around Aizen's betrayal from pretty much the start..

The battle between Aizen and Ichigo was stupidily boring and one sided..which is another reason Bleach fell off..among the already known reasons..
