[Discussion] What happened to 7 Swordsmen?

After all that hype of the 7 Swordsmen and Kakashi's "rampage" we find out that these legends were done in so easily and we even didn't get the chance to see it? Are these fights really being saved for anime filler or is the manga just being way too rushed (and short)?

The manga looks like it's being rushed. :\ I guess the people in the anime department want to start in the new year and that will make the manga's war arc look shorter then you can believe. It's a shame that we didn't see kakashi's rampage or any of the other fights such as with kimmo.

I had huge hope and expectations for this war. I though Kishi might actually pull off some amazing and unexpected twist such as cool fights, main characters dieing, etc. I actually pray that the anime will save this arc.
