What Happened In 637 ?

When Madara attempted to make obito perform RT , Obito was clearly using a different hand seal(as naruto said)
But with a different hand seal , was obito actually performing some sort of RT? if not, how can we explain despite obito not using RT , madara's wrinkles gradually fade and there's some sort of aura around him ?

I think from the end of 636 to the moment obito got slashed , he was using the same hand sign . Obito was using sth else from the beginning , Naruto confirmed it

you might be right..but this implies RT can be performed by 2 different hand seals
