im just about to get into hajime no ippo, and found out there is only 76 episodes did it get canceled, im wondering with the manga still going on with over 1000 chapters i expected it to have alot of episodes

is it worth watching the 76 episodes

No, it's still going on lol. It's broken up into seasons/series. Rising was the latest one.

Yeah, the anime is awesome. I'm not sure when the next season will come out. Madhouse has their hands ful atml as it seems.

76 episodes ? last time i checked they have 128 episode in total.. including the OVA and special episode.
