[Question] What happen to my negative reps?

I got like 3 negative rep from the same guy and its all gone now. The points are the same. What happen?

He made a religious thread and I stated my answer and disagreement and he minus rep me for no particular reason and his friend minus rep me. And he minus rep me twice. Ah >.< don't know.

Weird day.

People like abusing the system when people don't agree their views. You took a stand and if he can't deal with that then that is his problem not yours.

Maybe the thread was deleted? Is rep removed if the comment it was given to is deleted?

If an admin took notice to him abusing the system they may have taken away the neg rep. If not then I couldn't tell ya.

Well my rep was deleted. I don't see the thread anymore. But I never did anything..

Thread deletion doesn't remove rep positive and negative. You just cannot see the thread any more. Your -rep is also still there I believe.

I had the same problem with some -possitive in my case- rep a few days ago.
The thread got deleted and I could not see the respective reputation entry in my recieved rep box.
Before the Forum upgrades I would just see the Thread name change to 'Deleted Thread' but now it completely dissapeared.

He probably didn't have any rep power. Was this person that gave you negative rep a new member with under 2000posts?
If so then that's probably why it didn't count, or a mod/admin removed the rep for rep abuse purposes.
