What got you hooked on naruto?

Everything about Naruto got me hooked since the first episode. I started watching it because when I was all caught up with One Piece, last Summer, I wanted to start watching another Anime show. The visuals, sounds, and intelligence of Naruto all got me from the very first episode. (I have more info about this in my introduction at the welcoming page Konichi wa.)

A friend of mine came into school one day toting a Naruto V.1 manga, so during class I read it.. Went home and watched it on Toonami that Saturday. Been hooked ever since.

During the sasuke retrieval arc best character dev in the series thus far btw it made my eyes rain (tugg speedman voice) after that I went naruto crazy

The fact that it combined ninjas with demons. I like to read about both, so when I saw a manga about that, I was instantly hooked. Although it took me a while to get used to the fact that the main character was a loud, bright blond, orange wearing demon holder who invented a jutsu to look like a woman ... And now he's one of my two top favourite characters LOL

I never heared of it before or watched any sort of anime. My husband showed me the sport festival one, then I wanted to watch the entire series because it was so funny.

Now it`s really the excitement. Plus it`s that crazy mix of emotions it sends me through. I really cried watching it (I usually never cry in movies) and died laughing few minutes later. The first time I watched through it, it was actually so many different emotions that I ended up feeling very tired after 10 episodes in a row.

After a while it went down abit with too many fillers and more and more compliacted and confusing plots and explanations. Questions get asked and the answers never come or they come years later. I still stay true to Naruto but the interest is slowly going down when it gets too much of a drag.

I wouldn`t mind an end to the story coming after a while. Then I can watch everything in a row which would be awesome.

I pretty much got addicted from the start. So many great characters, and I really like the way the characters are drawn.

TBH the coordinated taijutsu just kicked ass. I loved it and that's what got me hooked tbh.

When Naruto goes into cloak mode it is a real treat because the taijutsu of the person fighting him has to go into turbo mode just to survive, while cloak mode naruto allows for a lot of creative fighting styles as it is so dynamic.

Byakugan, Sharingan.

Early itachi, I always thought tobi was too goofy for there to not be much more too him.

Jiraiya and his jutsu, naruto learning how to summon giant toads.

The first episode I had ever watched was when Zabuza and Kakashi first fought. I was thinking to myself, damn, these ninjas look cool as hell with Zabuza and his large sword and bandage face and Kakashi with the cool demeanor and his head band held over his eye. Then come around episode 20 I think, Zabuza rushed at those expendable ninjas with a kunai and I was thinking, damnnnnn. It only got better during the exams when they had hyped Gaara up to be untouchable, then Rock Lee tagged his ass, hahaha. Wished they would have kept Dosu and his squad around. Loved that sound amp and could have became a powerful ninja because of it. Also Haku and those needles and mirros.

I just started following recently. I remember watching a Bleach video on Youtube and there was a flame war going on so I decided to check out the most viewed Naruto video I could fin and it was Pain vs. Naruto. This is almost exactly how it went down.

"Toads? Are they singing? This is soooo gay. I'm outta here... Alright, alright, I'll see what all this talk is about Itachi and Sasuke - oh shit! This is awesome! His eyes are bleeding!"

And the rest is history.

I saw a youtube video of Sasuke vs Naruto at the valley of the end and had to learn more of this Naruto Universe XD
