What got you hooked on naruto?

I love watching any martial arts so to see naruto use jutsu and martial arts i was hook from the very first start i knew this was going to be a hit, hell, i didn't even read manga before naruto try in the past and hated but naruto brought back my fait in manga, like one piece and fairy tail, i might even try some more new ones when these sires i like stop having manga. the four hokage and oro, kabuto, and sasukeand naruto is the biggest reason i love naruto

I started watching it before it came on TV

My cousins would burn some episodes on disks and I watched it with them all the time when I was over their house.
The biggest thing I remember from those times were the chuunin exams, and just how (I hate to use this word but) 'epic' it was to me. When Shikamaru used the shadow possession stuff, I was just blown away. And I thought Zabuza was the COOLEST villain and he was my favorite character, and to this day he still is! Also the humor of the early episodes got me really hooked (Especially Kakashi's mask filler ep). I started with the anime earlier, but just recently I got really hooked on the manga.

I was really on and off about it, and I admit I haven't seen EVERY SINGLE episode or chapter but enough to know whats going on and know what I'm talking about. Now I'm hooked! Hooked enough to quit lurking Narutobase and make an account :]

I have to say when they first showed zabuza i was so into it idk why i kept watching before that maybe because it was toonami and seeing shadow clones looked cool, so share your story what got you hooked?

When i first got hooked on the manga it was when i was chillin in my house and my older brother was reading it and was talkin about how awesome it is and stuff
so one day he left one of the naruto books around (it was the battle of the final valley between naruto and sasuke f.y.i) and when i read it i was like this just blew my face off
and thats when i got hooked

I really hated Naruto when I was younger. Always screaming 'BELIEVE IT!" was so annoying. Then one summer I started watching the subbed version and I thought they sounded awesome so I kept watching. ಠ_ಠ

its an amazing show the best ever U_U better than dbz to me and th eplot has been great ...when naruto first started with ero sennin and those funny filler episodes where cool and not boring and the arc episodes from both part 1 and 2 have been amazing bringing new characters from kakashi's sharingan (EPIC) to now tobi and , itachi so on it is undescribile and sad its going to end soon i will cry U_U
