They got crushed by Madara, how will they even stand a chance against Obito (none have sage mode, except for maybe Tsunade) and with the Juubi sucking everyone's chakra. All i can see them do is saving an important character at the last second as a cliff hanger.

O/T: They aren't going to do anything. Seriously, I think they will make a surprise appearance at the last moment to counter one of Obito's/the Juubi's/Madara's techniques (like the Third Hokage in the last chapter).

It's just Ninjutsu that is useless. Taijutsu will still be effective, genjutsu is doubtful for obvious reasons
