I think you guys misunderstood the thread title, it says "What girls like about guys; guys about girls'' and not "Who's your ideal boyfriend/girlfriend?".

Anyway, since I'm a guy, I must say what do I like about girls... right!?

Well I like girls who are original, have a good attitude, and not hypocrites! I'm 15 years old, and still I don't know a girl, who's original, and not a mirror of the society!

If you don't like guys because they don't have a loving nature, you are finding the wrong guys (No offense) Maybe I am just a weird person but I feel like if I have a gf (I don't atm) that I should love them as much as I can and do anything to make them know that.

On top of that the thing that I love in a girl is a strong personality, nice not bitchy, calm with hyper moments, if they look good thats a huge bonus but not necessary.... Well actually, ya if they look good I would definitely go out with them. Brown hair, though that isn't necessary, I just like brown hair...

As for me..I'm not too picky on looks. You don't have to be super hot or anything for me to like you. Most girls that I know try to be super pretty because all of the magazines and tabloids make them think that if they look like that they'll get guys. But I digress. What I like in a girl is:


Caring personality with a somewhat mean streak

Relatively short, somewhere from 5'4 to 5'9

Being smart, but also knowing how to have fun

Somewhat crazy, since I'm not the most sane person myself

Somewhat damaged goods. I can't really go after a girl who is all perfect and has no problems. If things happened to you that you're not proud of, that's okay. I'm not really one for judging, (mostly because some bad shit has happened to me too) so a lot of people feel the need to talk about things with me. And to be honest I kind of like that. I don't know, maybe I was just brought up differently than most.

And even though I said looks aren't that important to me, I still favor physically attractive girls over..not physically attractive girls. But to be honest, wouldn't we all want someone that looks good over someone who doesn't? It's got nothing to do with me "being shallow". In fact, the perfect girl for me would have most or all of these traits. (Already met her)

Anyway, that is what I like in a girl.

So what if they are not your ideal girl/guy, guess what by only looking for those things you may miss out on an incredible girl/guy. What if you meet someone who is the complete opposite of what you want, and what you look for yet you fall in love with her/him? Out yourself out there living in a fantasy world where you look for what you want isn't gonna happen. Just a reality check.

Anyway I never ever judge a guy by anything long as he has a good heart I'm good.

As much as I agree with your statement no matter how good intentions may be or who we may or may not give a chance to all narrows down to 1st impressions, and even after that a lot of times there are other deciding factors and they could be little things. Like for instance you may meet or know a guy who really does have a good heart but turns out he just annoys the hell outta you, be it his actions, loudmouth etc. It's true that we never meet that perfect person, but it is possible to get close enough. Btw, I really like how you Women speak your mind. ^_^
