So, which genres do YOU listen to? What draws you to them? How do you find your music? Have your tastes changed over time? How did you begin to like that genre? hard rock/heavy metal because it actually takes skill. (Avenged Sevenfold, lamb of god, Metallica, early linkin park)

and rap because its catchy and also takes some degree of skill if a rapper show good word play.

Mainly Hip-Hop and R&B. I tried other genres but they just don't appeal to me :/

Though I will listen to some jazz music occasionally. Not often enough to know of any specific artists or have a favorite song but jazz music is just so classy and smooth! Can't help but love it when I hear it.

Edit: The blues too! I can jam the blues every now and then.
