What Genre of anime do you prefer

This is a pretty basic question guys, What Genre of anime do you prefer? I’m writing a short story for a local Publishing Company and would like input from my NB Fam.

Magical girl, Shojo, and Shonen.

Dark, fantasy, action.

Mystery, drama, action, fantasy, comedy. Like Death note, Naruto, Bakuman, etc.

Fight animes aren't really my thing, Naruto & Soul Eater are special cases.

I prefer slice of life animes or occasional romantic/comedy anime. The japanese are good at that.

But y'know what they're horrible at? Comedy or sitcom stuff, never crackeda single genuine smile.

Fair enough, it's just a different cultural sense of humour. Like how us British are quite fluent in sarcasm and the Australians like historical comedy. Naruto SD always made me laugh & early episodes of Katekyo Hitman Reborn are quite funny too.

pfft, well yer brits got international rowan atkinson person and both his physical humour and outspoked one seem pretty neat for general public.

Japs are just....easily distracted and amused.

Dark, fantasy, action.

I agree, that is to say goth fantasy/Dark fantasy, but the right balance is hard to find. i like Dark fantasies but I like them told in a more realistic setting like Game of Thrones or TrueBlood stuff like that is cool.
