LOL...don't misunderstand me, I'm not the least bit angry; I've read the Koran, and the Bible (new testament); what you need to realise is all religions carry that kind of "sales pitches" for the uneducated people, to motivate people to live a religious life in promise of something better to come if you do.oke calm and read.
With illogical i meant the fact that in the koran (scuse me if im wrong, i heard this from grown up muslims) it says that u can get 70 virgins in heaven?
I forgot the rest but it seems there are some lines in the koran that are clearly made by ppl in that time.
dont get angry just correct me if im wrong
When you talk about logic I tend to consider the more practical aspects of these religions, for example Islam dictates that, a man should not eat any meat (except fish) unless it's not killed according to religious right (Halal), similar to Kosher in Judaism; the reason behind this is that to prevent people from eating dead animals, now if you consider the geographic birth places of these religions you'll find that they originated in relatively harsher environments (i.e. the middle east) where water is scares, hot as hell considering this it's logical to think that due to these harsher conditions it's only logical to think that animals would have died due to various reasons including disease, and due to lack of food when people ate these dead animals they got sick; hence a religious edict was introduced to counter this by ordering people to kill all their animals themselves ensuring that the meat was fresh.
If this is not logic I don't know what is????
