What "fodder" characters were more interesting/dimensional than main characters?

By this I mean characters who had little or no long term significance with the plot and weren't really developed. Like the old Cloud guy who knew about the third Raikage and helped Temari and Naruto battle him. I actually liked him waaay more than Mifune lols.

That's a main character from a filler. She isn't a part of the canon.

Well, I still love Fu and Torune who were to me more interesting than many characters with a lot of paneltime U_U It's just me though.

But Teuchi was a marginalized character, and has done reasonably well for a fodder.
Especially on the Base Lol
