Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing a flashback about Sakumo Hatake.

The idea might seem a bit boring at first, but I think Kishi would be able to make something decent from his life right up to his tragic suicide. It seems like a wasted opportunity to not show the abilities of someone as famous as the Sannin.
