[Question] What excatly is Orihime?

I've started watching Bleach recentley and in order to avoid filleres and crap I've decided to go on the wiki and search it up a bit. Than I saw a pic of Orihime wearing a similar outfit to Ishida (only it's a dress) :

No...Orihime is a human who like Chad and gained powers from Ichigo however Orihime is useless considering what her power is she potentially has the ability to be the most OP person ever in Bleach but wastes her time shouting "Kurosaki-kun" in an annoying way.

To be honest, no one knows what Orihime truly is. The closest thing she seems to be is a fullbringer, considering that she uses an object (her hair pins) to draw out her powers. But Hachigen, a vizored, said that her powers are very similar to his own. There is also the fact that he also stated that her hair pins are also like a zanpakuto, as she is able to communicate with the spirits within them. That makes it highly likely that Orihime, isn't a fullbringer, because non of the other fullbrings have shown signs of having a spirit within them.

I can only guess that Orihime is some sort of human/fullbringer/shinigami hybrid. But I'm not sure, I have been wrong before.

you should know that it's more than just that.....so why after the hogyoku left rukia's body they kept getting stronger? chad got new abilities after that.... they are fullbringers.

you should know that it's more than just that.....so why after the hogyoku left rukia's body they kept getting stronger? chad got new abilities after that.... they are fullbringers.

The Hogyoku granted them the powers, they were then able to develop those powers. There was nothing that ever said the Hogyoku was needed for Chad or Orihime to get stronger.

Fullbringers are humans who have the ability to communicate with the souls of inanimate objects and manipulate them. They're able to do this with ALL inanimate objects. Orihime has never shown the ability to do that so there's no reason to suspect she's a Fullbringer.

The manga clearly explained the origins of their powers so unless it goes back and alters that, that's what it is.

I never said that Orihime's hairpins are a zanpakuto, I was referring to what Hachigen said, with them being like a zanpakuto.
