In detail his trump card was to beat hashirama and take his sage mode in order to fight obito and extract all the tailed beasts l leaving him in a paralyzed state and having BZ take over him to revive him with rinne tensei. But naruto weakened obito for madara and BZ took control over obito to revive madara. That was madara entire plan.

read it - if you can.
Later on in 638 he is talking about Obitio anticipating his so called "trump card" -
Again: read if you can. Ahh btw. 638 > 636. > means: "y is bigger than x" - for those of you who don't know (I don't expect anything from now on.)

Madara thanked Naruto for weakening Obito. He could not knew that they would win the battle even though he might hoped so.

BZ was his trump card.
If anything, Madara may have just tried to weaken him or catch him off-guard then use BZ to do it..
Regardless, there's no other hints that he meant anything but BZ.
