I'm not sure some say it's not literally worshipping Satan even tho I see them in news worshipping demon Statues and doing stuff at grave sites

Am an atheist so I wouldn't know what goes in the heads of religious people, at the end of the day its just a religion if they don't harm anyone or force their believes into other peoples minds then I got no problem with them the same applies to all religious people.

I'm not an expert and I know Satanism is as diverse as Christianity. One thing I found interesting in some of my studies is what they call "The Left Hand Path" its a dark path and what I found interesting is that it seems to originate from the Kabbalah Tree of Life.
The left side of the tree is the path of Severity and the right side the Path of Mercy.

That said, I've spoken to many on religious forums, for some theres a belief that we are trapped by the God of the Bible in this Universe and the Universe needs to be destroyed in order to be set free. Heavy stuff with those peeps lol...

Others I've talked to believe the God of the Bible trapped humanity in ignorance and Lucifer "Satan" freed humanity by giving them knowledge and is the benevolent God while Jehovah is the malevolent God so they worship Satan in an attempt to gain further knowledge.

For others still its simply a life lead in materialism rather than spiritualism.

Again,I'm not an expert, I've just always been interested in others beliefs, and this is some of whats been shared with me although The Left Hand Path and Tree of Life similarity is just my theory. Haven't really had a chance to dig too deep into it.

LOL you may be right at least in some regard, but i'm able to lean on my own study in most cases as to not be taken a total fool. Some of those peeps could get pretty deep with it all so i'm pretty confident that what I posted is legit.

Acid Satanism is the one practiced mostly by teenagers or young adults, and here Satan is nothing but an excuse for having wild and dangerous parties of drugs and alcohol and ***. However, many homicides have been committed by this kind of Satanists.

Generally speaking, anyway, the overwhelming majority of Satanists belong to the last two categories, so most Satanists don't believe in the actual existence of the being called Satan.

The majority of Satanists don't actually believe in Satan. The actually satanic bible is, from what I am aware, about expanding your perspective, individuality, and freedom of religion, and not about worshiping demonic idols.

If I'm not mistaken, the reason why they chose to call themselves Satanists was to reveal the hypocrisy of the state for not adhering to religious freedom and allowing a Satanic church to exist based on their own religious beliefs and not principles of the constitution.

In terms of Satanism, the one sect that I actually agree with is the LaVeyan Satanism.

skipping the whole aspect of rituals and magic of course. I don't know what they mean by those. I have a different definition of magic and perhaps they do too. But as far as I'm concerned ATM I think they are going for the theatrical rituals and magic like sacrificing and blood rites and such.
