What effect would Totsuka Blade have on Preta Path?

Just wondering, if Nagato used the Preta Path to put up a shield, would the Totsuka blade seal that as well?

Whoa. That effectively means that Itachi's most dangerous weapon is null against Nagato. Wow.

The reason I was questioning was because I thought that technically Totsuka Blade was Fuinjutsu.

The blade is overated, if it seals everything then why is orochimaru still running around? If it fully seals the soul then even though he kept his dna all over the place then he should have been fully gone. I'm sure many will call it plot device, well duhh yeah its a comic book everything is a plot device.

It states nowhere on that page that it's made of chakra. It's a liquid that's shaped when unsheathed that's enchanted to seal anything it pierces

Totsuka isn't a sharingan ability, it's a spiritual item meaning it's probably connected to his soul.

spiritual doesn't mean chakra just like how the Shinigama from the Death Reaper Seal isn't chakra either.
