does this mean he respects boruto?
Kun (君【くん】) is generally used by people of senior status addressing or referring to those of junior status, by anyone addressing or it can be used when referring to men in general, male children or male teenagers, or among male friends. It can be used by males or females when addressing a male whom they are emotionally attached to or have known for a long time.

I don't think they know Boruto has the curse seal since when Momo gave it to Boruto he did it in a time stopped alter dimension

Its a term of endearment. Sorta like calling someone a friend but its only meant for your peers or younger. You usually dont call someone who is older than you kun. Sakura used to say it to Naruto and Sasuke alot. Especially Sasuke.

It has a highly hierarchy meaning. Teachers use it a lot to call their students but it can also be used to address a male or a friend but the main usage is hierarchical.

"Satoshi Kun, come to the board please.."
