What does that pink symbol mean?

The symbol that appeared before Denki has been infected by the snake is the same symbol that appeared before Boruto summoned the beast.
It' s a flower with a rinnegan in the center, obviously, that reminds you god trees.
The color pink is pretty rare in the anime and seems to be used for powerfull mixes of chakra, Naruto's+Hinata's chakras=pink chakra.

The village has sealed the beast that cursed Denki in a scroll, and Boruto choose this scroll.
Or Denki' s chakra infected Boruto.

Yeah, the symbol means nothing, its color means nothing, this manga never foreshadowed anything.
Kawaki solos and that' s all that brings interest in this manga.

The symbol was shown with Denki, and now with Boruto, that' s just random.
They just put 30 ideas in a bag and then they draw the 3 ideas that they randomly took from the bag, this time they got Denki+Boruto+pink god tree symbol...

Or, it has a meaning.

I thought that there were 2 possibilities to explain the link between Denki, Boruto and the beast that cursed Denki.

1/Denki' s cursed chakra infected Boruto, and that chakra "woke up" when Boruto tried to release as much chakra as he could to summon the animal in the big scroll he stole, resulting in the summoning of the beast that infected Denki.
2/The beast that cursed Denki has been sealed by the Konoha village, Boruto stole this scroll and summoned the beast.

But Konohamaru states that Boruto shouldn' t have enough chakra to be able to summon that beast.
So it has to be choice 1/, the chakra infected Boruto, giving him supplementary chakra to be able to summon an animal of that size.
