Amaterasu seems to burn through things pretty fast so I wonder why it is stated that it's slow-burning ?

Examples:
*the first time it was used, in a matter of seconds it burned through Jiraiya's jutsu (inside the frog stomach)
*more recently, it killed that Juubi offspring pretty fast
*the webs in kabuto vs itachi and sasuke

And there is more. So can you guys enlighten me ?

Well, where was it implied to be slow-burning? It seems to be the opposite.

Well it barely burned through karin's cloak, so kishi is obviously using plot to change it's efficiency.

Well the flames slowly burn things away, and they also have a very slow spread rate from their initial Target (EX: Burn a samurai.....it is slow to spread from the Bushido Corpse to other things).

To counter this is to simply apply more flames. This way the increase in quantity speeds up the slow burn quality.

I read it in chapter too, I forgot which one so I'll quote narutowikia

However, the flames burn fairly slowly, sometimes allowing anyone struck by Amaterasu an opportunity to remove whatever clothing or body parts have been caught ablaze. Nagato was able to deflect the flames from his body using Shinra Tensei.[8] Jiraiya was also able to seal the flames with the Fire Sealing Method.
