[Question] What does rep mean on Naruto base?

Im just curious on this rep word that people say. Is it some kind of computer slang that represent a certain word, or is it some kind word that on the Naruto base system? If it a thing that on Naruto Base can someone tell me what it does thanks.

It just shows how well liked you are.Say you have 100 posts with 5 rep bars this clearly shows that your very well known and well liked around the base.

Reputation is a system designed to rate the posts and actions of other members. It means nothing at all lately, but from what I have heard it used to mean alot a while ago and showed your standing in the community but now it's just simply for the aesthetics due to the rep whoring... Reputation. If a member likes a thread, or comment you posted, they'll give you plus rep. If they dislike what you said, they'll give you negative rep.

When you agree with someone or feel they make a great point you can go to their post and click the six pointed star and either approve of the post/thread or disapprove. This can add or subtract from their reputation bar(the little green bar underneath your avatar). Hope that answered your question.

Rep is just short for Reputation, it shows how much people like you on the base. If you have like 300 posts and 2-3 rep bars that means people like you and add reputation to you.

It's an approval rating. When you give or take rep, there are too options: Approve and Disapprove. If someone as more rep, then their threads are often approved by other members.
