What does OP mean?

I'm sorry for asking what is probably a really simple question but I've seen the term "OP" being used a lot and was wondering what it means. It seems to be used in reference when talking about a character or a jutsu.

It refers to something being "Overpowered".

It can also refer to the term "Original Post' in regards to the first post of a thread topic.

It can mean many things
1. One Piece
2. over powered
3. original poster (creator of threads)
Etcetera
