I'd assume it would mean that the person somehow killed themselves without the other doing a thing, but people just use it to say that it's a complete stomp.

It's like saying my character can defeat your character easily without trying at all.

When someone is so strong that no difficulty to beat the opponent is such belittling that negative difficulty meaning below no difficulty is the appropriate term used in these situations.

For example I can beat up an ant Neg Diff, there is no challenge that saying no difficulty is too much. Negative is the way to go.

It's a hyperbole. It basically means that Character A with even his lowest attack can easily take down an opponent.

Example: Saeko negs all NV females.

It's used when two characters with a large power gap between them are being compared.

Ex) Juubi Jin Madara defeats Temari neg diff.

Yeah negative difficulty is used to mean utter stomp. However, no diff would be what you're saying. Negative
diff quite literally would mean that the person actually had like no diff AND gained something. Like standing
there and having the other shinobi just die while you magically become stronger making it actually negative
difficulty as you gain rather than lose strength and energy.

Negative difficulty. The difficulty is so non-existent that in order to quantify the difficulty you need to use negative integers.

A term that refers to two characters fighting; one character beating the other without any effort.
