I would like to have seen the Sannin grow up and go on missions with the 3rd Hokage.

I think this would be the most depressing anime arc of all time. Every episode, a new speech about peace, love... and pain :|

Personally I would like to see Rikudou's characterization and the raising of his sons. The Elder Son got his philosophies from somewhere right?
