It's looking pretty obvious that something's gonna happen when he gets the other fox, he still has chakra from all the other bijuu and yang chakra from the kyuubi. the residual chakra will definitely react and give him something even more powerful than BM, at least that's what I think, if sasuke gets rinnegan Naruto obviously will get some new power-up to match.

Also bleach is infamous for giving a whole chapter of filler before showing someone whip out a sword/bankai on the last page, it's almost like clockwork. you even admitted that they do it, although not all the time, they do it way more than I'd like.

Pretty sure that whatever Nardo gets is gonna put him on a level strong enough to combat Maddy and would be enough to make him comparable to Sasuke with the rinnegan. Not to mention chakra is one thing, but the actual beast is totally different.
